yup.

junkers are the best cars, because you can do anything you want with them, and nothing of value is lost. i learned this when i got out of porsches, and bought my first 500 dollar miata.



currently dreaming of a salvage title, multiple body panel damaged 996 to build into my next ice car. but even a junker 996 is worth 5-10k because of the part out value. and with what i plan to do to that car ... it will be worth 0 dollars when i am done with it. i can afford to do that with a couple thousand dollar cars, i can't afford to flush 10-15 grand down the toilet with even a rough 996.

might push me into a C6 instead, they are much cheaper and easier to find in bad shape.

it turns out snooty porsche owners dont like you crashing your car into 5 foot snow banks at 60+mph all weekend long, for its entire life, with saw blades for tires (rip fenders). it will never be "nice" after at that. but, thats what i do with cars. because its the most fun thing to do with them.
