I've decided to sell my '67 because of this. I hardly drive it anymore. I'm too busy looking out for idiots or deer to truly enjoy driving the car as it's meant to be driven. It's a shame because it's so fun and pure to drive. I'll miss looking at it in the garage but is that worth the value of the car to me? No. I'll end up buying another air cooled sometime but not another long hood.
