Neither, and both, for me. My joy with my Speedster is that I raced it, autocrossed it for years, took it apart down to the last nut and bolt and restored it, I taught my son to drive in -
he drove it to his Prom. The car is part of my life. It's part of my family's history. And after 40 years, through no fault of my own, it's also a significant part of my net worth. So driving it is rather fraught, and it's value isn't strictly monetary.
