As above plus some more detail- MRIs have Supercooled electromagnets. Liquid nitrogen etc and high current electical flow, 'quenching' them is done by turning off the current to demagnitize the bore. This is done in an emergency and quickly using the big red button. But restoring fuction is more complicated then turning them back on. Calibration is needed.
