I did the seats in my 84 911, so not exactly the same as a 928 seat, but similar. I did Brown leather with brown/tan Pasha inserts. Got my covers from

Yes, the seats will need to come out of the car, then you will need to strip the original covers off and install the now covers. Not an overly complicated job, but can be a little tedious.
