You can tune the amount of warmth. I'm able to tune it until I'm OK with it, but invariably, I end up needing to look at colors in photos or something which requires going back to normal color.

Yep, I used f.lux years ago. You can tune f.lux for times and amount of warming and dimming. I believe the stuff that's built into Apple stuff can also be tuned, times, color, etc....

Interesting. I got a blue blocking coating added to my last couple of pairs of glasses because I work at a monitor for a living. I've never noticed a difference, but I assume it can't/shouldn't hurt.

Yes, I love dark mode. I don't even have it flip based on time of day. I just set things to permanent dark mode. Not only is it easier on the eyes, but I think it saves electricity/battery.
