You are correct that is a PITA subject
According to 77Katalogue (PET) my 77-S has A fronts and M rears and the catalogue as well as PP parts suggest 2 different bleeders (OEM or otherwise).

It is very confusing that your 84 uses the same f/r? The calipers being A and M on yours really is a baffler?
Perhaps others can chime in re sizing same or not?
