I don’t know the market at all but man that sounds very spendy for a Chevy SUV with 71k miles rolled up. Consider the PO likely got low $20s on it as a trade in, miles are too high for a lease return. If the wife is set on that year and model what does the private party market look like. Finally a deal is a deal and I would tell the dealer to eat that $750 after you negotiated the final price…leave your cash buy out of that process.FWIW good luck regardless.
