I was a regular recipient of corporal punishment. None of it deserved of course.
I think I spent 1/2 my high school career semi "grounded" due to some dodgy grades. That said - at least SOME of that was deserved and corrected.
I think my kids were maybe spanked once... ...but they've been so good I don't think we've ever needed to punish them in a decade other than the occasional - no phone until homework is done sort of thing.
