I'm saying HE couldn't afford it. He and is wife, son, and daughter lived in a very small, rented 3 room house. By my standards, if you can't afford a decent house for your family you can't afford a new car every two years. The house was so pathetic when he died and the rest of the family moved out the owner bulldozed it.
