I知 in the same boat. Between building houses and getting up, down, around all over the house, and working on the car, getting up and down 10,000 times when I知 doing something, looser pants work better. Especially in the summer, when I知 sweating bullets.
Edit: Not elastic waist pants, but a stretch fit.
