The Austin region PCA is fairly active from posts I have read on this board. There are groups of people who get together in Dallas and Houston every so often, so keep an eye out. Always a good reason for a road trip if work does not interfer.
Are you new to Austin? Many great roads. We love taking the 911 down there whenever we can but we are usually heading through on horse business or hunting so we just never seem to use the car in those wonderful roads.
Oh, and welcome to the board! It is addictive!
