I Switches mine recently.
- secure engine below with a lift jack
- remove 4 bolts from center (pulleyhousing)
- remove big bolts of crossbar left and right
- slightly lower the engine
- secure it with stand at lowered hight
- remove engine mounts for more clearance
- gently lower engine even more until rear gap is large enough
- again, secure engine position with stand
- pass crossbar through gap in engine bay
- crossbar will slide down between muffler and bumper
- install new crossbar in reverse mode to above
edit: when lifting up engine back in position, make sure the rubber flaps don't get squashed
