I put 195/65/15 Riken Raptors (Michelin made) on my 6x15 group 4 aluminum steelies with some spacers in the rear.
They’re round, meaty tires that probably mimic what the car felt like in 1977. I like them way more than the Dunlop Dirrezza 205/50/16 that were on my staggered 6&7x16 Fuchs.
My fenders are rolled from the Fuchs/Dunlop combination but the Raptors don’t need that and they don’t run anywhere.
The car is a bit softer and looser- it copes with bumps and rough pavement better and helps offset the lowered stance I have.
I’m a big believer that for mostly stock cars, round meaty tires are the most fun. Super high performance tires kind of feel overkill on these modest cars. Let’s remember that 170hp is about what a lawnmower has these days [emoji12]
