HISTORY BUZZ: From 9/12/70: North American Air Command workers examine a large piece of metal which was found in a Kansas farm yard recently. The satellite, Soviet Cosmos #316 orbited the Earth for 8-months before it broke up recently and chunks fell into the states of Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas. The metal is being examined at Vance Air Force Base in Enid, OK.
