Garage
Yea, I had to explain to them in a not real friendly tone that is was totally unacceptable. The folks on the phone asked that I wait for the technician to determine the cause. And he said it was the idiotic management. He said he told them on his first visit he needed to replace both cell phone modules as a pair, and they would not authorize it as it was working as is. That only lasted a month, so he had to drive back out at their expense.

When the weather got stupid cold earlier this year, the plastic cover for the garage door sensor failed, and the little tabs that hold the cover in place broke off, and the cover holds the battery in place. A really stupid design. He replaced the sensor and it comes with a new battery. He said if all he did was replace the battery, that is not covered in the maintenance and I would have to pay for it. I had the new battery ready to go in, but it would not stay in place with the broken cover. He gave back my new battery, and put in an all new sensor. Yep, real logic at work.
