My shift rod bushing has arrived and I will be installing shortly. I can only see it as being a great improvement over the shorter bushing, but you will find a tremendous improvement in the feel of the shifter once you install the Karsten17 shifter spring. You will be pleasently surprised at how natural it feels and how the shift leaver automatically falls in the 3- 4 plane.
