I bought a No-Mar Cycle Hill tire changer 15 years ago. It lets you take the tire off and put it back on.
I've used it on BMW, Ducati, Motoguzzi, Vstrom, Suzuki M109, Kawasaki and last year I bought tires at Walmart for my VW TDI and change them.
Its a hobby level tool but it does work. You won't find one in a motorcycle shop. It takes too much time fiddling around getting the wheel locked.
