gee the porsche snobs are out today.
ive owned both, skylines, 911 and now a 930.
they all do what there supposed to do well, but in standard form u cannot compare a 80s porsche to a 90s gtr, the gtr will wipe the floor with it in every department, except it doesnt have a german badge.
really hard to compare apples with apples when your talking 90s porsche compared to a 90s gtr, gtr is still less than half the price, but definately not half the car.
i dont care what badge a car has, if it does it does the job it was designed to do and does it well, then i respect it.
it too would pick a 996tt over a 2002 gtr, but only because im a bit of a snob too, yes its a better car, but not twice as good as the price indicates.
