Ease of installation is definitely something to consider. I was able to get it seated without too much trouble, but it does take some patience. You're right that I lost track of who was upset or why, but there was really no cause for anyone at all to be defensive at easy questions about how a product should perform at the 10x the cost of the factory part.
Subjective "shifting feel," may be improved for some (and not others), but I was interested with all sincerity in how the improvement would be achieved objectively. Length, diameter, reliability, and rigidity were considered. And we got some valuable feedback from TeeJay and others on point. You've now suggested ease of installation. Prospective buyers would appreciate it. Why should that offend anyone? Anyway, questions raised about materials and design, and the relevant measurements and feedback have since been erased by the moderator. Draw your own conclusions.
I will "move on" since my agnosticism isn't appreciated by the amen choir, but after all this was posted to a public "technical forum." Wanted to better understand the role of the bushing and to what extent something like this would "improve" things at 10x the cost of the well-performing factory part. I may not be one of the cool kids, but still didn't expect anyone to react so childishly. Why not remove the thread critical of the Momo Prototypo or delete scrutiny of any part out there? It kind of misses the mark.
