Thanks for the input Gled49 . I have replaced similar style gears in Muncie and Borg warner transmissions without any issues, so I figured if I ran a pattern and checked backlash it would work out. The motor I’m building is meant to be used on the street so it won’t be seeing 8000 rpm.
