Hi a friend of mine alerted me to this thread.The car in question is indeed an R34 GTR Skyline,Nissan rate these at 276 bhp although in Japan the big motor companies have a gentlemans agreement not to go above this level many did and gave performance figures below peak power outputs.This model will regularly hit 330 bhp on the rollers as standard.0-60 comes up in 4.6 secs.They are a modifiers dream with people in England outlaying as much as £50,000 (pounds) on the engine alone.They can be tuned to over 1000 bhp and in Japan are regularly used for drag and track events as well as in the uk.They are a serious track weapon the handling is superb, i noticed that one person commented on this thread that they drive themselves this is just not true they need a very competent driver to get the best from them.Owners in the UK go to regular meets/Trackdays to test their tuned cars and at an event called"Ten of the best" a Skyline recorded a 1/4 mile time of 9 secs taking the top prize (these cars have to be street legal) this event has been dominated by Skylines ever since it began a whole host of cars run including Vipers,Porsches,Supras,Evo's,Corvettes,TVR's and a host of other exotic cars.Thought you guys would like the info.
