Uh yeah, I was aiming for the nock of the first arrow, a 1/4" spot from 48'. LOL.
I always intend to hit the "center" of the target. When I do, I'm happy about it. It was just chance that had me run one arrow up the wazoo of another arrow. My bow doesn't have a sight, and even if it did, I couldn't see that well at 50' anyway. The whole point is to be absolutely perfectly consistent from shot to shot, and that's REALLY hard to do. I'm a beginner with <3 months of shooting under my belt.
When you intend to hit the center of the target, and you send enough arrows in that general direction, eventually you're going to hit one arrow with another arrow just by chance.
