ONLY people with analog watches do that! Look at the watch face, and it is easy to "see" the time is 15 minutes until the hour. I went digital long ago. One of my coworkers was always asking the time, and look at my watch and it is easy to read, 10:37 or 10:52 and give a precise time. It always bugged him, and he just wanted to know approximately what the time was, I told him to the minute. Then I started adding in the seconds as well when he asked.
