My 14 yo is into Magic the Gathering. He likes hanging out with his nerdy friends at the local "shop" and they stay out of trouble there. Coincidentally, I was working with a 15 yo who said she was into Pokemon when I mentioned my son's interest. The 15 yo's dad spoke up and said he was into Magic as well and owns over 40K cards and estimated their value at $33K.
