Adjusted the shift linkage and can get the transmission in all gears - When the motor is not running. Now I need to get back under the car to adjust the clutch cable because although I can get into all the forward gears with the motor running, I cannot get into reverse without the gears griding due to the lack of synchros.
I also ordered a part to get the clutch helper spring installed, but it has to come from Germany so it looks like I'll be driving it like I'm accustomed to until I can get that part in 6-8 weeks.
