Way back in 2009 I paid over $1700.00 for a 52 inch Toshiba Regza from Best Buy and got a free Toshiba Regza Blu-ray player for free as part of a sale they were having.
Good thing is I still have both of them and they still work. Thar was the first big flat screen tv I ever bought, have since bought others, bigger, better, slimmer, but that Toshiba was pretty high end stuff back then and was our living room tv for many years, it now resides in the master bedroom.
