I've paid homage to Porsches. I've never argued that Porsche owners would not like their own car/marque more.

This is a Porsche 911 board. If I went to a skyline board and started spouting the advantages of a 911 the same thing would happen, maybe to a larger extent.
this thread reminds me of many other boards for other brands of cars.

I don't doubt it. But I also haven't said the GT-R is the end-all/be-all of sports cars, nor am I myopic enough to not see the positives/negatives of the marques we've been discussing unlike our dear friend jryerson who can only spout off half witted critiques based off his own limited knowledge.

I haven't once said the Porsche 930 is a bad car. I don't understand the need for one-upsmanship in that regard. I like my cars. You like your cars.

The GT-R was inspired by the Porsche 959.

[about the GT-R]It's not an all conquering car. I don't think there is such a beast. It's not designed to appeal to everyone- no car car can do that.

I like all cars that are cool...

I don't see why those statements should be blasted by jryerson.
