^ The movie experience has waned. Too darned expensive, and not as special anymore.

In the 70's-80's matinees were a good way to pass the time. Even rarer-
Drive in movie theaters.

The first movie I ever saw was the "Poseiden adventure" in 1972. I was... 2.
Dad took the 66 911. I fit very fine in the back.

It was a drive in and I remember it well. Specifically playing out front the screen before the movie started.

Perhaps another thing young kids won't experience- Ernest Borgnine.

Here's ours out in the mountains. We need to support it, but it's about an hour drive each way.
