A group of us use to set set up the Porsche corral at the Rolex in Daytona on Friday and we would go to Hooters for lunch, we did that for years. This particular time, Derek Bell and his son grabbed the table right behind me, and in my typical fashion I was flirting with our Hooters girl. Well, I was about to get her phone number (she wanted to check out the race and was off on Saturday, so she pulled out her pen and asked me to hand her my menu, at the same time, Derek Bell grabbed both the menu and pen and proceeded to sign it. I did see her a few times after that.
