Why don't you quit whining and read what you have posted? Everyone has been an attack on me.
You are the one that started it with me and the rest of your ricer wannabes here and you are the one that brought my Ferrari into it, accept responsibility for your actions and quit playing me as the big bad guy.

You meathead.
My very first post did not even address you.
My second post addressed the FACT you were WRONG. In that same post I acknowledged I preferred other Ferrrari cars over the 328GTS. That is an opinion, and to attack me personally and not address the opinion shows how little you understand your position in this stupid debate. To even admit you have a problem with others who don't care for your little F-car shows how narrow minded and touched in the head you are. I personally couldn't care less if you don't like my car- I'll be just happy enough knowing I like my car.
For what it's worth, a 328GTS, available for the mid $30Ks, IS low rent compared to pretty much any other Ferrari, new or used and that is a FACT.
You, sir, are what other marque enthusiasts (including many on this thread too) see as a typical myopic
snob with an inferiority complex and I will have nothing more to do with you.
To everyone else-
I'm sorry this thread has evolved this way. Thanks for all the comments, constructive, encouraging, or undestanding. I would never imagine coming to a Porsche forum and expect such warm sentiments and mutual appreciation for something other than a Porsche- many other enthusiasts could learn a thing or two from y'all!
Rick Conrath-
GT-Rs are available via MotoRex (
www.motorex.net) and RB Motoring (
www.rbmotoring.com).
These are 50 state legal cars. They are EPA and DOT certified. They are individually certified by CARB for CA Smog. The DOT cert packages are approved on a per unit basis.
Currently there are approximately 70-odd GT-Rs in the US, model years ranging from 1989-2002 in different specifications. GT-Rs are not the same as a Skyline coupe... or about the same as an M3 is to a 3 series. They are hand assembled in separate production plants and are built in fairly low numbers for a production car. Under 50K units were made of the initial 6 year BNR32 chassis, under 20K units for the 3 year run of B-CNR33 chassis, and for the last 4 year run, under 30K units for the chassis- BNR34.
