I liked Glen Miller's In the Mood.
I know my Dad had a set of fifteen 45's from 1955 but I think he had some 78's of him as well.
FWIW - 2nd grade I found my first big hit on 45. Eydie Gorme, Blame it on the Bossa Nova. The record player was that brown bakalite stuff like an old Weller soldering gun. With a flip of the lever it was playing the song over. Sweet.
I don't think it had a 33 1/3 speed. 78 and 45 rpm.
