LOL .... not me .... it's a losing proposition for sure!
A few years ago, it was the last day of the season, I was on my rural property where they have sanctuary, have appeared over the last decade, and my uncle (an expert hunter/woodsman) feeds them too. He doesn't hunt there....
I heard an ol' Tom just gobbling up a storm as I was around my pond one morning.... I was like.... shaddup you dumbazz turkey....
I heard a shotgun blast that afternoon from the neighboring property

My uncle usually gets his two (the limit here) within 2-3 days from opening day.... but on really rural land....
