I didn't have anything planted yet (we don't plant Maize up here
)...but the Umbrella plants that I had stored for the winter are now in the turtle pond. They were nice and green and about 3 ft tall.....now they are yellow and brown.
They'll come back from new shoots, but it's nice to have something well started in the spring instead of waiting till June for new growth.
