I assume there are 3 main categories of burgulars
1 smash and grab (methheads, crackheads, losers looking for a little quick cash)
2 organized groups using more sophisticated tools methods to get bigger scores
3 inside jobs (workers, contractors, visitors, etc...) that discovered that there's a certain item that they want and could relatively easily get because they know the details of the target

My guess is that group #1 could use pillow cases.
