That reminds me of my old Ma Bell job. We had colored pairs of wires in bundles that were also color paired. So you would open a cable boot look for the blue/white bundle then inside that bundle look for a red /green pair. So fun with a flashlight in your teeth while hanging onto a pole with sharpened hooks strapped to your legs. All for $98 / week.
