I might have mentioned this here before. We built this one up few months ago for my kid with period correct DA 9 spd. I would have done with more modern parts as being period correct isn't a big deal to me but I have a couple groups of it hanging around from bikes past why not. Anyway, he helped (age 16) and got it done. WE went out for a ride and he rode it exactly one time. Came home, hung it up where this pic was taken and that was it. He has a 23 Trek Emonda with 12 spd Ultegra. I am not sure if I should mad or sad? I should understand because I didn't like the half chrome forks on bikes from the late 70s when I started riding in the mid to 80s. Thought they were too old looking.
