I put in a 2 post about 10 yrs ago. I purchased an inexpensive (then) lift as I couldn't afford the more expensive American made ones. I had seen one in a commercial shop that had very heavy use over the course of several years and it was still working fine. Chose the 2 post because 1) I had the ceiling height & 2) it gives me the most clearance for work. Sometimes, its a bit nerve racking to get the lift arms positioned, but it is a minor annoyance. I believe that 4" reinforced concrete was required. Took 2 of us the better part of a day to install. Best thing I did.
If I didn't have the ceiling height, I would have gone with a Max Jax. Quick Jax looks to be a good option, but there is more limited clearance.
