You must have some great relationship with body and paint shops to get it in an out in a matter of weeks or months. Its taken 3 years to get my car IN the door of an appropriate shop, I'm no metal guy and did not plan on cutting my teeth with bird poop welds on precious metal Cant wait to get it back (eventually) and roll up my sleeves, patience will pay off. In comparison though most of the rest of us seem to be slacking ...
Porsche adventures with my dad are the best! Thousands of miles traveled in my lifetime with him and more to come, the earliest of which I remember being strapped into the lap belt and not even being able to see over the dash; soaking up the sensations only an air cooled cockpit can deliver. It's no wonder I'm addicted!
Great to see more generational passion shared, enjoy the ride!

Thank you. Yes we started working on it in earnest last June. I have a fantastic welder locally who did an amazing job on the widebody and got lucky to fit into my painter’s schedule.
It has gone exceedingly well but it’s hard to describe how many hours have been spent getting it this far. And the number of times we realized we had made a mistake and had to take a step back. But priceless memories have been created working in the garage, smiling when we check something off the list.
The first time we really hit the gas I’m gonna lose it!
