I'll define my "favorite" tool is the one I would miss the most if I didn't have it.
This old 3/8 extension fits that definition. I've had if for at least 50 years and use it all the time. I don't know where it came from, but it went missing for a couple of months and I was really bummed about it. I can't explain why it means anything to me, but it does.
