Every day I'm in the garage, I use this thread gauge. It's got most of the common nut and bolt sizes in imperial and metric. It's always nice to do a quick check to see if you need fine or coarse threads to match up to the bolt you're using. Saves a lot of looking!

Timely thread and post from Herr Oberst as I was just looking at some of the fasteners on my E-bike that are rusting and thinking now is the time to start swapping them out for stainless. I just ordered a nut and bolt thread checker from Amazon which will assist help me bypass some guess work! CLICK

My fav. tool as of late is my Ryobi cordless impact driver......I use it almost every day!
