Finally finished up re-plumbing my entire house from galvanized steel pipe to PEX. The house is about 40 years old and the old pipe was springing leaks all over the place. Managed to not make too many holes in the walls, ceilings and floors to get it done. Getting real good at drywall repair. I used the old pipe to fish the new PEX through the walls by attaching the PEX to one end and pull the galvanized pipe through the wall a few feet at a time and sawing it off piece by piece with metal cutting blade in a sawzall. Fortunately there were no unions hiding in the wall that could not go through the holes in the studs.
