Odometer on th3 '89 Golf cab quit last fall. This afternoon I reviewed the how to info I got last year and had at it. One broken (and mended) speedometer needle later I couldn't find the fault. It was while I was re-installing the cluster I realized the speedometer cable had not been properly engaged since last time I had the dash out.
I hate making work for myself.
At least everything seems to work now.
