dimensionally there is no external difference between the 3.0, 3.2 and 3.6 cases, all the differences were internal.

With my race car with a 964-based 3 .6L, I started out with a 964 engine carrier with solid mounts for the engine and transmission. The carrier was not bent. Then, I switched to an earlier carrier...it could be from a 1973 car...and it is not bent either. All I had to do was change out the mounting studs for the carrier change.
I am using a Clewett serpentine belt setup with a 1973 fan setup.
