So I avoided pelican hoses entirely, and am using heater hoses used for diesel heater kits; this is what I'm using and I'm happy with the aesthetic, shiny black:

It says 60mm, but I was able to stretch it. My heaterboxes are aftermarket so I cut that one a couple places and clamped over it, works fine. Looks SOOOOOOO much better than stock hoses.
