'cause when he's bailed out and then killed, the $750k will go a long way to covering the costs the state has incurred up to now. Plus, saves a lot of money on the prosecution/defense, the 20+ yr reside on death row, the appeals, and the cost of the death juice injection. Not that I'm for the death penalty (killing by the state), but the fine folks in Texas do and this is a Texas matter.
