Some never-let-it-die high school folks from my class are reaching all they can for a 60th reunion. Are you kidding? I went to 2, 10 and 20 I believe. The 20th was enough of a shocker for me. Half the guys were balding and were fat. They weren't even 40 yet. When the 30th rolled around I went to 2 pre-gatherings but didn't buy into the dinner/dance/BS awards. I saw enough to know that I was permanently disconnected.

No interest in the 40 or 50. Now 60 and I bet 50 people out of 900 show up. Unfortunately as many as 25% may be dead. The main thing is by this point everyone's personality has changed. If one kept up, fine. If not, that would be a real disappointment. I don't see it any other way.

Well said...20th was the last I bothered to go to. Got mailed something about a 60th a few years back. It went into the shredder unopened. I do hope all my ex girlfriends led happy lives after our split, but zero desire to meet with any of them again.
