Walk away and do as suggested above - find a shop thru others, the forums or PCA.
I did a bare metal, glass out, disassembled repaint in 2014 for about $14,500 all in; paint, new rubber, windshield, headliner. Highly respected shop. Very minimal bodywork needed. His estimate tells me that he's not too interested.
