Why ? What is so different about painting a 911 to any other car ?
This is another aspect of owning Porsche cars or any other prestige brand that annoys the hell out of me, $35,000 for a paint job [in my opinion] on any 911 is nuts! Here in the UK, there are top body shops that would do a superb paint job for a fraction of that!

Full respray. You disassemble the car and deliver it. They paint the doors, hood and decklid off the car and you reassemble and gap it yourself. That pricing would yield a full top end respray.
