Once one gets to the dept chair. There's really no other boss until you go to president of the school or university. Which they have said to go talk to payroll.
I've gone to payroll and they're idiots.
Head of the business office is not bright either (pawns it back to payroll).
I've had issues with their billing before. They tacked an extra 5k to my w2 compared to end of year pay stub. Something about tuition saved and GA, but I'm using the gi bill for tuition and it sent their heads scrambling over their mistake.
It just sucks because I'll lose good students to other universities and my free labor... More importantly is the free labor.
